Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work A wooded landscape with figures fishing by a waterfall by Maximilian Joseph Schinnagel for GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,725.74). This price was achieved in the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maximilian Joseph Schinnagel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A mountainous landscape with figures, a horse-drawn carriage and a dog on a path, which sold at auction in October 2018 for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,412.28).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A wooded landscape with figures fishing by a waterfall von Maximilian Joseph Schinnagel für GBP 1.057,50 (€ 1.725,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00.
