Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Essai spatial / Ruimtelijke proeven by Maxime van de Woestyne was sold in the Contemporary Art & Belgian Art Online auction at Bonhams in Brussels in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,048.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maxime van de Woestyne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Contours de la Vie, which sold at auction in February 2004 for EUR 5,019.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Essai spatial / Ruimtelijke proeven von Maxime van de Woestyne wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Belgian Art Online bei Bonhams in Brüssel versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.048,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Maxime van de Woestyne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Contours de la Vie beobachtet, die im Februar 2004 für EUR 5.019,00 versteigert wurde.
