Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ville Dans L'Oasismaxime Noiré ; The Oasis ; Signed Lower Left ; Oil On Canvas Laid Down On Panel by Maxime Noire was sold in the Orientalist Sale: Paintings, Sculptures and Works of Art auction at Sothebys in Paris in October 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,125.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Maxime Noire have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2014 the work Vue De Bou Saada was auctioned for EUR 4,160.00.

Die Arbeit Ville Dans L'Oasismaxime Noiré ; The Oasis ; Signed Lower Left ; Oil On Canvas Laid Down On Panel von Maxime Noire wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion Orientalist Sale: Paintings, Sculptures and Works of Art bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.125,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Maxime Noire konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2014 die Arbeit Vue De Bou Saada für EUR 4.160,00 versteigert.
