In June 2005 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work A Chinese Jar And Vase, A Painting And Fabric On A Tabletop by Max Schödl. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,455.45), 32% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Max Schödl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Middle Eastern still life, which sold at auction in January 2006 for EUR 12,000.00.

Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Chinese Jar And Vase, A Painting And Fabric On A Tabletop von Max Schödl zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.600,00 (€ 5.455,45) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Max Schödl mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Middle Eastern still life beobachtet, die im Januar 2006 für EUR 12.000,00 versteigert wurde.
