Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work German Odalisque by Max Nonnenbruch for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,045.82). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Nonnenbruch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work German Evening By The Lake in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 114,202.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit German Odalisque von Max Nonnenbruch für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 8.045,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Nonnenbruch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit German Evening By The Lake im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.000,00 (€ 114.202,05).
