Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Max Pitzner could be acquired at Christies in New York in April 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Watching The Polish; Also A Companion Painting changed hands for USD 780.00 (€ 617.87) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Max Pitzner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Patrouille in Deutsch Südwest-Afrika, which sold at auction in November 2014 for EUR 1,935.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Max Pitzner konnte im April 2006 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The House Sale wechselte die Arbeit Watching The Polish; Also A Companion Painting für USD 780,00 (€ 617,87) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Max Pitzner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Patrouille in Deutsch Südwest-Afrika beobachtet, die im November 2014 für EUR 1.935,00 versteigert wurde.
