This artwork by Mauro Mejiaz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in June 2007. In the Latin American Sale auction, the work Concierto Barroco sold for USD 15,600.00 (€ 11,538.46) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mauro Mejiaz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reveil Cosmique, which sold at auction in November 2008 for USD 31,250.00 (€ 24,617.93).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mauro Mejiaz erzielte im Juni 2007 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Sale wurde die Arbeit Concierto Barroco für USD 15.600,00 (€ 11.538,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mauro Mejiaz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reveil Cosmique beobachtet, die im November 2008 für USD 31.250,00 (€ 24.617,93) versteigert wurde.
