Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams in Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction American Art | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work Fishing Boats at a Pier, Rockport by Maurice King Burns. It changed hands for a price of USD 768.00 (€ 720.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Other works by Maurice King Burns have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May this year the work Winter Street Scene, Provincetown was auctioned for USD 1,408.00 (€ 1,321.57).

Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion American Art | Bonhams Skinner durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fishing Boats at a Pier, Rockport von Maurice King Burns zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 768,00 (€ 720,86) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00.
