Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rocky Coastline by Maurice Braun was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,320.00 (€ 7,675.98). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Braun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eucalyptus Trees in the Mist in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 127,000.00 (€ 149,658.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rocky Coastline von Maurice Braun kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.320,00 (€ 7.675,98) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Braun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eucalyptus Trees in the Mist im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 127.000,00 (€ 149.658,26).
