Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Artcurial held the auction Orientalism, which included the work Le Souk Aux Épices by Maurice Bouviolle. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,800.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maurice Bouviolle have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Café Maure in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 51,003.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Orientalism durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Souk Aux Épices von Maurice Bouviolle zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.800,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice Bouviolle auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Café Maure im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.003,00.
