Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Selbstbildnis. Wohl 1945. by Maurice Barraud was auctioned at Koller in July last year. The price achieved of CHF 5,000.00 (€ 5,151.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maurice Barraud have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Belle Genevoise in June 2010 with an auction result of CHF 52,500.00 (€ 39,643.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Selbstbildnis. Wohl 1945. von Maurice Barraud kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Koller zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 5.000,00 (€ 5.151,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice Barraud auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Belle Genevoise im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 52.500,00 (€ 39.643,03).
