Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Waking Up. by Matti Haupt was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in May 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 650.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matti Haupt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torso. in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 12,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Waking Up. von Matti Haupt kam im Mai 2012 bei Bukowski in Helsinki zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 650,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matti Haupt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torso. im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.000,00.
