In May 2012 Bukowski in Helsinki held the auction The Spring Classic Sale, Helsinki F163, which included the work Man With A Pick Axe. by Matti Haupt. The result of EUR 600.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matti Haupt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Torso. in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 12,000.00.

Im Mai 2012 führte Bukowski in Helsinki die Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Helsinki F163 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Man With A Pick Axe. von Matti Haupt zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 600,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matti Haupt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Torso. im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.000,00.
