Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Painting #62-2 by Matsumi Kanemitsu for USD 720.00 (€ 563.69). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Matsumi Kanemitsu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Distant Cousin in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 4,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Painting #62-2 von Matsumi Kanemitsu für USD 720,00 (€ 563,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matsumi Kanemitsu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Distant Cousin im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.375,00.
