This artwork by Matias Spescha achieved an unexpectedly high price at Koller in June 2012. In the PostWar & Contemporary auction, the work Peinture Mars. 1965. sold for CHF 18,000.00 (€ 14,979.16) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 9,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Matias Spescha; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Peinture "Grau-Schwarz", 1961 sold at auction in June 2001 with the realized price of CHF 29,375.00 (€ 19,290.99).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Matias Spescha erzielte im Juni 2012 bei Koller einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PostWar & Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Peinture Mars. 1965. für CHF 18.000,00 (€ 14.979,16) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 9.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Matias Spescha; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Peinture "Grau-Schwarz", 1961 im Juni 2001 mit dem Hammerpreis von CHF 29.375,00 (€ 19.290,99).
