However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mattheus van Helmont - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Villagers Celebrating A Wedding Feast Outside A Country Tavern, which sold at auction in May 2006 for EUR 60,000.00.
