In the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction, the work The Martyrdom Of Saint Catherine sold for GBP 67,250.00 (€ 82,937.93) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Massimo Stanzione - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Madonna And Child, which sold at auction in January 2014 for USD 305,000.00 (€ 225,925.93).
