A top price for Massimo Stanzione - as previously expected
The work Madonna And Child by Massimo Stanzione was sold in the Old Master Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in January 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 305,000.00 (€ 225,925.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Madonna And Child is the most expensive artwork by Massimo Stanzione that we have observed at auctions so far.
