Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2001 Christies in Rome held the auction ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO, which included the work Paesaggio lacustre by Massimiliano Gallelli. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of ITL 3,000,000.00 – 4,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of ITL 3,185,000.00 (€ 2,862.60) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Massimiliano Gallelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The lyrist's serenade in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 14,100.00 (€ 16,615.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2001 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion ARTE DEL XIX SECOLO durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paesaggio lacustre von Massimiliano Gallelli zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von ITL 3.000.000,00 – 4.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von ITL 3.185.000,00 (€ 2.862,60) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Massimiliano Gallelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The lyrist's serenade im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.100,00 (€ 16.615,60).
