Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lean 3 by Mary Ramsden was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in July 2019. The price achieved of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,058.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Mary Ramsden have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work (i)-(ii) Untitled in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,301.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lean 3 von Mary Ramsden kam im Juli 2019 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.058,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mary Ramsden auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit (i)-(ii) Untitled im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.301,70).
