The price achieved of USD 10,200.00 (€ 8,644.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Indian Mother & Child is the most expensive artwork by Mary Mendenhall Gray that we have observed at auctions so far.
