Despite a disappointment, a good price for Mary Warner
When the work The Burden by Mary Warner was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 507.51). Despite this disappointing result, The Burden is the most expensive artwork by Mary Warner that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit The Burden von Mary Warner im Juli 2012 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
