A top price for Mary Curtis Richardson - as previously expected
In December 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art Online, which included the work Girl Reading by Mary Curtis Richardson. The price achieved of USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,689.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Girl Reading is the most expensive artwork by Mary Curtis Richardson that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girl Reading von Mary Curtis Richardson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.689,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden.
