Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stone-d by Mary Bauermeister was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in November this year. The price achieved of USD 57,600.00 (€ 52,805.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mary Bauermeister have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alutable in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 350,000.00 (€ 313,929.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Stone-d von Mary Bauermeister kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 57.600,00 (€ 52.805,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mary Bauermeister auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alutable im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 350.000,00 (€ 313.929,50).
