Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams in London held the auction Blazing a TrailModern British Women, which included the work Out of the Thicket by Mary Adshead. The price achieved of GBP 3,200.00 (€ 3,200.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Mary Adshead have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2007 the work Music And Drama was auctioned for GBP 2,280.00 (€ 3,355.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Blazing a TrailModern British Women durch, in der auch die Arbeit Out of the Thicket von Mary Adshead zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.200,00 (€ 3.200,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Mary Adshead konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2007 die Arbeit Music And Drama für GBP 2.280,00 (€ 3.355,90) versteigert.
