Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2016 Artcurial held the auction More, which included the work Drapeau Sur La Lune - 2013 by Martin Whatson. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,300.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Whatson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paint Love - 2013 in April 2018 with an auction result of EUR 5,330.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion More durch, in der auch die Arbeit Drapeau Sur La Lune - 2013 von Martin Whatson zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.300,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Whatson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paint Love - 2013 im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.330,00.
