Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Martin Mortensen could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Four earthenware vases and a candlestick holder, partly modelled with organic ornamentation in relief, decorated with polychrome glazes changed hands for DKK 2,100.00 (€ 281.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martin Mortensen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Earthenware floor vase, modelled with handles, decorated with green glazes in different nuances, which sold at auction in August this year for DKK 5,500.00 (€ 737.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Martin Mortensen konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Four earthenware vases and a candlestick holder, partly modelled with organic ornamentation in relief, decorated with polychrome glazes für DKK 2.100,00 (€ 281,65) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Martin Mortensen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Earthenware floor vase, modelled with handles, decorated with green glazes in different nuances beobachtet, die im August diesen Jahres für DKK 5.500,00 (€ 737,80) versteigert wurde.
