Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Impala by Martin Koch for USD 1,440.00 (€ 1,114.64). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Koch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elephants in December 2003 with an auction result of USD 16,730.00 (€ 13,280.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Impala von Martin Koch für USD 1.440,00 (€ 1.114,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Koch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elephants im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.730,00 (€ 13.280,94).
