Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Weather Vane by Martin Bradley. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,981.82). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martin Bradley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abstract, which sold at auction in July 2011 for GBP 16,875.00 (€ 19,366.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Weather Vane von Martin Bradley zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.650,00 (€ 8.981,82) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Martin Bradley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Abstract beobachtet, die im Juli 2011 für GBP 16.875,00 (€ 19.366,59) versteigert wurde.
