In August 2013 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Epistle; And Untitled by Martin Bradley. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,344.35), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Bradley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abstract in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 16,875.00 (€ 19,366.59).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im August 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Epistle; And Untitled von Martin Bradley zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.344,35) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Bradley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abstract im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.875,00 (€ 19.366,59).
