A top price for Martín Blaszko - as previously expected
This work without title by Martín Blaszko was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,200.00 (€ 26,463.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Martín Blaszko that we have observed at auctions so far.

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Martín Blaszko kam im November 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 31.200,00 (€ 26.463,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Martín Blaszko, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
