This artwork by Martin Barré achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December 2021. In the Post War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Sans titre sold for EUR 175,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Martin Barré - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 63-F-5 - 1963, which sold at auction in November 2016 for EUR 691,500.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Martin Barré erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 175.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 100.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Martin Barré mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 63-F-5 - 1963 beobachtet, die im November 2016 für EUR 691.500,00 versteigert wurde.
