A top price for Marten van Mytens the Younger
In April last year Bonhams in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work Esther swooning before Ahasuerus by Marten van Mytens the Younger. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 19,125.00 (€ 22,805.89). With this result, Esther swooning before Ahasuerus is even the most expensive work of art by Marten van Mytens the Younger that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Esther swooning before Ahasuerus von Marten van Mytens the Younger zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 19.125,00 (€ 22.805,89) einen neuen Besitzer.
