Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fisherman by Mårten Andersson was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020. The price achieved of SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,259.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mårten Andersson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Timmerkörarnas by" (The timmermans village) in May 2011 with an auction result of SEK 1,025,000.00 (€ 115,362.41).

Die Arbeit Fisherman von Mårten Andersson wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.259,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 50.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mårten Andersson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Timmerkörarnas by" (The timmermans village) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.025.000,00 (€ 115.362,41).
