Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Artcurial in Cologne held the auction Twenty One Contemporary, which included the work La plante carnivore - 2010 by Marlène Mocquet. It changed hands for a price of EUR 787.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marlène Mocquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Parachutistes Imposteurs - 2008 in October 2014 with an auction result of EUR 14,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Köln die Auktion Twenty One Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit La plante carnivore - 2010 von Marlène Mocquet zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 787,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marlène Mocquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Parachutistes Imposteurs - 2008 im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.300,00.
