In July 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Cattle watering in a river landscape by William Mark Fisher. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,134.70) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Mark Fisher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Milking time in September 2001 with an auction result of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,382.74).

Im Juli 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cattle watering in a river landscape von William Mark Fisher zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.134,70) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Mark Fisher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Milking time im September 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.050,00 (€ 11.382,74).
