Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Front of House/Back of House, which included the work The Ascent (No. 6) - Central Park, NYC by Mark Mignogna. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 200.00 – 400.00, the actual price achieved of USD 250.00 (€ 211.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Mark Mignogna have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in August 2019 the work Loosing the Dogs-No. 18 (Central Park) was auctioned for USD 250.00 (€ 227.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Front of House/Back of House durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Ascent (No. 6) - Central Park, NYC von Mark Mignogna zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 200,00 – 400,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 250,00 (€ 211,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Mark Mignogna konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im August 2019 die Arbeit Loosing the Dogs-No. 18 (Central Park) für USD 250,00 (€ 227,50) versteigert.
