This artwork by Mark Coreth achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in April last year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Tiger's Head 51cm (20 1/16in) high sold for GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,601.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mark Coreth; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Lioness sold at auction in November 2019 with the realized price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,072.93).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mark Coreth erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Tiger's Head 51cm (20 1/16in) high für GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.601,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mark Coreth; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Lioness im November 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.072,93).
