Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Paesaggio con case e colline sullo sfondo by Marius Ledda was auctioned at Il Ponte in May 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 350.00 – 400.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marius Ledda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Donne al pozzo in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 5,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Paesaggio con case e colline sullo sfondo von Marius Ledda im Mai 2016 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 350,00 – 400,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 300,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marius Ledda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Donne al pozzo im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.000,00.
