Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eucalyptus Trees and Foothills by Marion Kavanaugh Wachtel was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of USD 6,120.00 (€ 5,543.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marion Kavanaugh Wachtel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sycamores in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 72,812.50 (€ 61,705.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eucalyptus Trees and Foothills von Marion Kavanaugh Wachtel wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.120,00 (€ 5.543,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marion Kavanaugh Wachtel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sycamores im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.812,50 (€ 61.705,51).
