Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Marion Grace Hocken could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction, the work Zinnias and Goldenrod changed hands for GBP 179.25 (€ 270.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marion Grace Hocken - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still life of chrysanthemums in a glass vase, with a statue of herons to the side, which sold at auction in March 2004 for GBP 418.25 (€ 626.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

In der Auktion AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES wechselte die Arbeit Zinnias and Goldenrod für GBP 179,25 (€ 270,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00.
