In December 2007 Sothebys in Milan held the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Bozzetto Per La Fontana Delle Naiadi by Mario Rutelli. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 45,850.00 31% above the upper estimate. With this result, Bozzetto Per La Fontana Delle Naiadi is even the most expensive work of art by Mario Rutelli that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bozzetto Per La Fontana Delle Naiadi von Mario Rutelli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 45.850,00 und damit 31% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
