Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mario Puppo could be acquired at Bonhams in London in February last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th Century Vintage Posters auction, the work Sestrieres changed hands for GBP 229.50 (€ 274.38) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Puppo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cortina in January 2013 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,049.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Puppo konnte im Februar letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Vintage Posters wechselte die Arbeit Sestrieres für GBP 229,50 (€ 274,38) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Puppo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cortina im Januar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.049,76).
