Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mario Prassinos achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Paysage blanc - 1959 sold for EUR 7,216.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Prassinos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Bessie Enchainee in November 2009 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 67,030.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Prassinos erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Paysage blanc - 1959 für EUR 7.216,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Prassinos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French Bessie Enchainee im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 67.030,23).
