A top price for Mario Prassinos - as previously expected
The work French Bessie Enchainee by Mario Prassinos was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2009. The price achieved of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 67,030.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, French Bessie Enchainee is the most expensive artwork by Mario Prassinos that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit French Bessie Enchainee von Mario Prassinos kam im November 2009 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 67.030,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist French Bessie Enchainee das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mario Prassinos, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
