Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mario Mirabella could be acquired at Il Ponte in May 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Litorale changed hands for EUR 1,200.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Mirabella - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Il Golfo di Palermo, which sold at auction in December last year for EUR 3,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Mirabella konnte im Mai 2017 bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Litorale für EUR 1.200,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Mirabella mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Il Golfo di Palermo beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für EUR 3.200,00 versteigert wurde.
