Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vue D'Une Fenetre, 1912 by Mario Cavaglieri was sold in the 20th Century Italian Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in April 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 20,965.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Cavaglieri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La méche bianca, which sold at auction in December 2019 for EUR 58,000.00.

Die Arbeit Vue D'Une Fenetre, 1912 von Mario Cavaglieri wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century Italian Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 20.965,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Cavaglieri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La méche bianca beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für EUR 58.000,00 versteigert wurde.
