Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Scorcio lacustre con Lecco sullo sfondo by Mario Bezzola for EUR 500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 550.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Mario Bezzola have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2014 by the work Scorcio del lago di Lecco at EUR 1,000.00.
