In December 2012 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art 2, which included the work Structure Architecturale Universite, 1958-65 by Francesco Marino di Teana. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 17,375.00 45% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Marino di Teana - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hommage A Lao Tseu - 1972-2007, which sold at auction in July 2019 for EUR 44,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 45 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2012 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art 2 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Structure Architecturale Universite, 1958-65 von Francesco Marino di Teana zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 17.375,00 und damit 45% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Francesco Marino di Teana mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hommage A Lao Tseu - 1972-2007 beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für EUR 44.200,00 versteigert wurde.
