This artwork by Francesco Marino di Teana achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in October 2018. In the 20th Century Art 1950 to present auction, the work Mur Porte A Rabattement De Lumiere N°2 Ou Grande Porte - 1964 sold for EUR 27,300.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Francesco Marino di Teana; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hommage A Lao Tseu - 1972-2007 sold at auction in July 2019 with the realized price of EUR 44,200.00.
